Blush Crush: Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Abundance

I’ve used the Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Abundance, and featured it here so many times, so it baffles me how there isn’t a dedicated review for this—one of my favorite blushes in the world—yet. I was so, so curious about Kjaer Weis that I took the plunge and ordered their cream foundation and their cream blush after a lot of research, mainly because they are frakking expensive. I don’t think I would have ordered these in my current state of mind, let’s just put it that way. I’m kind of really glad I did, though, because this is a marvelous product. Kjaer Weis makes certified organic beauty products with a refillable system. Their compacts are heavy and expensive—this blush will set you back $56 (or $32 for the refill, which is magnetized if you want to go the Z-palette route). Advertisements

Cutting down on baggage

Sometimes, I’m a total dimwit when it comes to packing my makeup, which is strange, since I’ve used makeup long enough to figure out what I use regularly and what I don’t. I brought way more than this when I went to Seoul, and I wish I didn’t, because this is honestly all I needed. I brought things like mascara and an eyelash curler, which I used maybe 2 days out of the 9 I was there. My Necessities for a Basic Face K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo 24H Real Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow Liner in G101* — This is my absolute staple! When I sleep in accidentally and have no time for makeup, I just draw on my brows! Ellis Faas Concealer in S204* — I love this concealer more than my NARS one, I think. It’s less fussy and it doesn’t cake even after a long day out. Urban Decay Primer Potion — To make my eyeshadow long lasting! NARS And God Created the Woman Palette — I must admit, I brought along another palette …

Recent Acquisitions / Currently Testing

Doing this series made me realize just how much I accumulate, and how quickly. International post duration makes it a bit hard to wrap my head around the fact that I have been buying so much stuff, but I have. And these posts are proof. I know I keep yapping on about accumulation—so I’ll stop—I think I just want to kinda say that “I’M AWARE! I’M AWARE!” but I don’t know what to do after that admission. I don’t want to be the kind of person who recognizes the symptoms of hoarding and brushes it off with a laugh and a few jokes, steadily trudging to the point of no return. But anyway. These are some objects. That I bought (and received). As a human. Who likes pretty things? Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Abundance I’ve been putting off my Kjaer Weis purchases but I finally caved and got a single cream blush. I’m looking at the sets, but this is great for now. I love Abundance, even though it looks slightly scary. I actually …

Illamasqua Cream Blushers

I picked up a few things from the Illamasqua super sale during the holidays and have been taking them out on a road test for the past month or so. These cream blushers went from £18 to £7.50 each, so I got three. Obviously… I have Promise, Rude, and Dixie, and they are all permanent shades.
